An investigation into the murder began after a teenager was stabbed to death on the streets of London.
Police rushed to the scene in Sydenham after a 19-year-old man was beaten with a knife last night after 9:30 pm.
When the ambulance crew arrived, police officers began first aid for teens on the Mior Walk.
Despite the efforts of the ambulance crew, the man died on the scene after a while.
Male relatives are known, but no formal identification has been made. A post-mortem examination will be done.
A murder investigator at the Mets Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Chris Wood, the detective’s Inspector Morse, said: Police cordon stays in place while a painstaking forensic examination is underway.
“The victim’s mother went to the scene and met with an officer. She and other family members receive ongoing support, and she faces the first day of her rest of her life without her son. When I do, my heart is turned to her.
“I can assure her, and in fact all Londoners, my full commitment to find the person responsible for this murder and bring them to justice.
