Turning point Star Ben Shepherd praised one player’s “great” stolen base at the show on Friday. This is because player David nicks his rival’s counter by default.
Player Chris was leading for £ 1,150, but when he incorrectly answered the space question, rival David managed to steal his turn and plead for a miracle.
Here are some tricky questions: “Which family of American space rockets was named after the giant children of Greek mythology Uranus and Gaia?”
A fan of travel, Chris guessed Saturn by seeing the planet names on many machines at the Florida Space Center.
Ben asked David what he had guessed, but only admitted that Chris’s rivals would have been plump for “Apollo.”
Both players were wrong because the correct answer (Titan) was displayed on the screen. This means that David has won the counter by default.
As Ben shouted, Chris was crushed by the loss.
But David wasn’t enthusiastic, pointing out that he needed a lot of wind and rain to catch up with Chris.
“I need a miracle,” he said, nervously watching the counter fall.
Ben saw five counters pooled in the tray and shouted, “Can I get something here to start this comeback? Yes, I can!” I was delighted.
A veteran of TippingPoint, who has hosted the show since its inception in 2012, congratulated David for stealing and pointed out that it was the nature of the game.
“Five counters, £ 250 to steal,” he said. “And it fills the gap significantly.”

David approached to secure the lead, but he fell into the final hurdle when he passed a question about the Renaissance art movement.
So Chris managed to get to the final and get rid of £ 3,050 before the counter disappeared.
When asked how he plans to spend his prize, Chris reveals he wants to jump on a plane to Las Vegas and buy a hairless cat.
It was Ben’s first show. He exclaimed, “I don’t think anyone has suggested that you want a hairless cat!”
The tipping point will be broadcast on ITV at 4 pm on weekdays.
