So, I am sure you are wondering – what exactly does Edinburgh’s Silver Duke entail? Let’s start with the basics. Following an old tradition, the boys must traverse miles of land with nothing but a map and compass. Last year we saw each team become heavily dependent on one person responsible for the map, but with all the changes to the teams it will be interesting to see how things play out Now let’s talk about the more enjoyable tasks of cooking and eating. A schoolboy must cook at least one meal for himself, and his popular pasta and pot noodles are still alive and well.

Finally, the most fun of all tasks is known for itself. entertainment! Naturally, no one wants to sit in a cold tent for two hours without doing anything. That’s why card games like Uno are so popular in terms of passing time and strengthening team bonds (or, for that matter, destroying team bonds altogether!). It’s a valuable award that helps both your resume and you as a person.
