BBVA’s Swiss division has launched a digital investment account that allows users to build portfolios based on themes such as climate change and technologies such as 3D printing, while at the same time offering cryptocurrency wallets.
Called the Next Generation, this account offers a catalog of companies and funds organized in 11 themes, including the Circular Economy. For technologies such as robotics and self-driving cars.
The catalog also aims to emulate the portfolio of major investors such as Warren Buffett, allowing clients to invest in traditional assets such as stocks and mutual funds.
BBVA is confident that by leveraging themes and technologies, we can attract clients with specific interests in genetic research and more.
Alfon Sogomes, CEO of BBVA Switzerland, said:
Users have access to all online banking services and Ivan numbers displayed in dollars, euros or Swiss francs. You’ll also get a wallet to store, buy and sell Bitcoin, all integrated with the mobile app.
To obtain a next-generation account, the client must be at least 18 years old, reside in an EU member state or Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, etc. and deposit $ 10,000 or more.
