Britney Spears said he would like to take a break from social media after disabling his Instagram account.
The newly engaged pop superstar, 39, used Instagram to share updates with his fans during the power of attorney battle.
It was on a platform that Spears announced on Sunday that it was set to marry partner Sam Asgari.
After disabling the account, the singer posted on Twitter, stating that she wouldn’t leave Instagram for a long time.
She states: “Don’t worry about people … just a short break from social media to celebrate my engagement !!!! I’ll be back soon.”
Spears’ decision to revoke her Instagram account precedes another hearing in the Power of Attorney, which manages her life and career.
Her father, Jamie, oversees her multi-million dollar property, but agreed to resign after months of pressure from the singer who demanded that he be removed from the role.
In a surprising move earlier this month, Jamie’s lawyer filed a petition in a Los Angeles court asking the judge to consider terminating the power of attorney.
The judge now needs to decide on the request. The next hearing is scheduled for September 29th.
Spears announced their engagement with Iranian-born actor and fitness instructor Asgari, 27, after nearly five years of dating.
