After the Danish midfielder fell to the ground during a European Championship match against Finland, Medics was in a hurry to help Christian Eriksen. There was a disastrous scene in the ground in Copenhagen as a Danish player stood beside an aggressive midfielder.
Eriksen, who left Tottenham in January 2020, appeared to have fallen off the ball to the ground.
The players then informed the doctors and referees of his condition, and they rushed to the scene.
Kasper Schmeichel and Andreas Christensen were one of the people who supported Eriksen.
The situation became even more serious when doctors then put Eriksen in the recovery position.
Doctors then began conducting CPR to resuscitate Eriksen.
Then Eriksen’s wife Sabrina came down to the touchline and was comforted by Simon Kjær and Schmeichel.
Danish boss Kasper Hürmand walked to the other side of the field where Eriksen was being treated and talked to Finnish boss Mark Canerva.
Finnish players allowed the field as referee Anthony Taylor also led officials off the pitch.
