Covid infections have increased most rapidly in the past week in the Portsmouth, Gosport, Fareham, Havant, and East Hampshire districts.

There were 303,504 positive test results in the week leading up to November 25, an increase of 9.5% from the previous week.

At the regional level, Northern Ireland has the highest prevalence in the UK, with 625 cases per 100,000, followed by Southeast England with 524 cases per 100,000.

London has the lowest rate, 318 per 100,000.

Neighboring areas of the news area, including Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport, Havant and East Hampshire, have shown the largest increase in case rates in the past week.
