Currently, large venues in the UK require a Covid passport.

Here’s everything you need to know about where you need your Covid passport and Portsmouth.

What is a Covid passport?

The NHS Covid Pass allows individuals to view Covid-19 vaccination details or test results.

The pass can prove that you are fully vaccinated (including boosters if eligible), negative Covid PCR or lateral flow with 48 hours of intended invasion. Tests, positive PCR to prove innate immunity (up to 180 days), proof of participation in NHS vaccine trials, or if you are under the age of 18 and do not need to present your Covid pass.

This pass can be used for domestic use or international travel.

How to get an NHS Covid passport

The Covid-19 pass is only available in regular NHS apps, not in NHS Covid-19 apps used for contact tracing.

To log in to the app, you need to know your NHS number and be registered with a general practitioner in the UK.

The pass can be downloaded and printed online to show negative details of the vaccination or Covid-19 test.

If you cannot apply for an NHS pass digitally through the app or online service, NHS Covid Pass A letter sent to you by mail.

If you are medically exempt from the Covid vaccine, you can apply for a medical tax exemption pass. Gov.uk.

How valid is the pass?

You can download the pass as a PDF from the NHS app or receive it by email.

If you have been vaccinated, your pass barcode will last for 30 days, but will be updated each time you log in to the app.

If you take a negative immunoflow or PCR test, the NHS Covid path lasts 48 hours from a negative result.

The Covid pass lasts up to 30 days and is renewed for 30 days upon login if the PCR test is positive (up to 180 days after the test is done).

Where in Portsmouth do I need a Covid pass?

A Covid pass is required for more than 500 unseat indoor events, more than 4,000 unseat outdoor events, and all events with more than 10,000 participants.

Nightclubs such as Astoria, Mr Miyagi’s, Pryzm and Popworld also require a pass to enter.

The venue will need to be prepared for new restrictions until next Wednesday (December 15th).

Work instruction at home has also been reintroduced, and face masks are now mandated in UK stores, taxis, pharmacies, dressings, theaters, cinemas, and public transport.
