The granddaughter of cricket legend Ian Botham was crowned Miss Yorkshire yesterday.
Imani-Jane Bosam 20 said her companions “screamed in place” when she was announced as the winner.
She added: “I was very nervous. I’m celebrating at home.”
“My family is really proud of me — they were all watching.
“I’m from a very competitive family.
All adults are set to receive the Covid vaccine by July as Boris Johnson accelerates deployment
I wouldn’t have been here without them. “
Her brother 22-year-old James plays rugby union in Wales..
Imani-Jayne in Richmond, North Yorkshire will be competing for Miss England in April.
