Here, Emma reveals how her companions AJ Odudu, Harry Judd, and Dennis Van Oten fought in Cooking with the Stars, and learn more about her new bond with co-host comedian Tom Allen. Masu …

Hello Emma! Please tell us about the show.

There are eight celebrities paired with eight chefs, who compete with each other for different themed dishes each week. It’s really tense, really emotional, and very interesting.

I heard it’s a little scary …

is! There was a lot of blood. There was a joke in the set that the broadcast time was longer than Tom Allen. I think that’s one of the things that none of us really thought about. We knew there was competitiveness and laughter, terrible food and good food, but we didn’t expect blood.

You are not a stranger to the McFly boys. How did Harry Judd act in the tournament?

Harry had an accident with a knife! He picked some herbs with one hand, pointed the knife in the wrong direction with the other hand, chopped it, and his hand went straight to the blade. I thought, “What a hell.” But he won’t stop! No one did. Everyone went on, Harry continued mixing with one hand, and the other hand was bandaged.

So is Denise van Outen’s fear of knives justified? !!

Dennis was cheerful. Dennis was the exact opposite when Harry became a villain with a knife. She couldn’t use a sharp knife, so she literally had a little baby dull knife that she used to cut everything.

Why did she go to the show?

Dennis partner [Eddie Boxshall] She cooks everything at home, but she really wanted to learn how to cook for her daughter Betsy. Johnny Vegas was like that. His son started cooking, so Johnny wanted to learn how to cook really well and tell him his recipe.

It’s cute. Have you really been competitive?

Within a day or two! We have bagged eight celebrities who came to think this was a great opportunity to learn how to cook and be taught by the best chefs in the country. Suddenly, everyone thought, “Wait a minute, I really want to win.” But competitiveness comes across in a really great way.

So did you have spats?

They all turned their backs on each other, but when it came to cooking, they said, “I love your companion, but I really want to beat this, so good luck.” It was nice to see.

Did they get along with the chef’s mentor?

Thank you! All celebrities were mitting for their mentors and were proud of them. To be honest, it was one of the best working environments I’ve had for a long time. It was very nice.

How was everyone’s cooking skills at the start of the show?

This means that you are dealing with people who have little cooking experience in nature. Some of them could probably master toast, and that was it. That’s no joke! However, there were some surprises when I thought, “They don’t know what they are doing,” and it was actually pretty good.

AJ Odudu is also a big personality of the show. How did she get on?

She loves cooking, but she’s the type of girl in pants and doesn’t like to follow recipes. AJ really had to restrain himself and do what his chef’s partner Jackstein taught him. They were a great duo.

The two are close together.

She is my really good friend.

How was it working with Tom Allen?

What a hell, I love him very much. I want him to come and live with us. He was great. I didn’t really know him-I obviously knew who he was and was looking at him but never actually met him. AJ knew him really well and she said, “You will love him absolutely and get over it brilliantly.” And she was absolutely right!

Did you build a bond through the show?

We literally spent all day with each other, even during breaks. Sometimes at lunch you just go and gather your thoughts and for a moment … or take a nap! But “Let’s have lunch together. Let’s have a supper!” I love him. He’s just a nice, nice and funny person.

How much food did you guys taste?

Only Tom and I didn’t have the right plate to eat. Frankly, we looked like stray dogs that had never been fed. I go to eat whatever is left in the pot.

How much foodie are you, and did you get any hints?

I have noticed many mistakes over the years. “What does it mean not to make carbonara with cream ?!” I’m one of those who tend to add this and a little bit of it. That’s great because you’re just trying things out. But when I looked at the experts, I realized I was overdoing everything. They say that the less the more, the more correct.

What is your typical dish?

curry. I grew up a little because I ate a lot as an adult. If you need to prepare a meal for a lot of people, that’s my recourse.

Did you have a big kitchen disaster?

I dropped food on the floor. It’s always a bagger. Then you ask yourself. “Do I pick it up and tell no one? Or do I just put it in a jar and start over?” For random roasted potatoes, just pick it up and don’t tell!

Do you have a recipe to try at home?

They cooked chicken breast with butter, and I mean they boiled it almost with butter. My god, that was good. I didn’t even know you could do it.

It’s been a year since I cooked at home and ordered takeaway. What are you looking forward to being a little more free?

When the world is normal and I go to dinner, I’ve only been to two restaurants, and there are plenty of great places to go. Now that I’ve met eight chefs, I can’t wait to go to their restaurant and taste what their food should be.
