People remained furious after the fly tipper dumped the entire mobile home by the side of the road.
The 8.5m caravan was abandoned at the A40 near Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, very close to the recycling center.
It remained full of waste such as strollers, wardrobes, bed frames and car license plates. Some of them were piled up from broken windows.
The abandoned mobile home was first reported on September 1st.
In a post on FixMyStreet, which records reports of road problems, the petitioner said:
“What is the council’s excuse for prosecuting someone with a license plate in the original photo left on September 1st, which was not removed?”
“Our highway team is aware of the caravan and is arranging to remove it as soon as possible,” said a spokesperson for the Buckinghamshire Council.
“It’s hard to believe that no one saw anything, or that the CCTV camera didn’t pick it up somewhere along the way …”, Adel Kopok responded on Facebook.
Rob Papworth agreed: “The way they left it undetected is impressive.”
Katie Bee said, “And guess what the council will do? Absolutely nothing.
