Musical Week Strictly come to dance It wasn’t everyone’s tea, but former pro James Jordan was repelled by fans for his criticisms of Rose Ayling Ellis’ routine.
Their halo! A magazine column, James and his wife Ora, shared their thoughts on Saturday dance.
“Rose and Giovanni announced Quickstep, but I didn’t think it was their best performance,” he said. “I think our expectations were set very high as we found this pairing to be very good.”
Ora, 39, said, “Last week Rose said he deserved to go to the finals and bring back the glitter balls, but this week’s performance felt a bit average from them.”
James, 43, replied: “”
The couple’s criticism was fairly balanced, but the fans weren’t impressed and used social media to vent.
One person wrote:
Another said, “I can’t believe how bitter this couple is. It’s been years since I strictly abandoned them … overcome it and continue your own life.” Said.
A third viewer added, “Rose was great as usual and defaulted to my winner.”
It’s unlikely that Rose (27) will keep her and Giovanni (31) out of the game in Catty words.
She was recently seen leaving the rehearsal studio strictly after a training session with Giovanni with her rarely seen boyfriend Samuel Arnold.
Rose, who plays Frankie Ruiz of Wolford, has been associated with Samuel for about seven years, but couples are rarely seen together in public.
Rose and Giovanni’s recent Couples’ Choice Routine, set in Clean Bandit’s symphonies, continues to win praise. Dance featured a silent segment to draw hearing viewers into the world of the hearing impaired.
