Emergency services were called shortly after 9pm Wednesday night following reports of a man injured near Walthamstow Avenue in Chingford.
The victim was confirmed dead at the scene. Metropolitan Police Department Start a murder investigation.
Officers have identified the victim, but have not been able to contact any next of kin.
In the early hours of Thursday, February 16, immediately after the incident, a man and a woman in their early 20s were arrested. He was charged with murder on Friday (yesterday).

Both George Elvis Tobosar, 22, of no fixed address, and Violeta Ionescu, 21, of no fixed address, have been charged and are scheduled to appear in Croydon Magistrate’s Court on Sunday (tomorrow).
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation, and the crime scene remains.
