‘Violent’ Luke Connors, 23, Atewood Road, no saltcommitted a series of robberies for two months from August 31 to October 28 last year.

He was beaten and stabbed by a driver before entering the premises, and the gang stole a dash cam from his car.
A local resident at the Ickenham Neighborhood Watch called the attack on the elderly man a “horrific attack” that “shocked our community”.
Residents provided police with CCTV footage, which helped officers identify the vehicle used by the criminals.
A joint investigation by Scotland Yard flying squads, local police from north and west London, and other police in Hertfordshire and the Thames Valley linked the incident to a series of ten other robberies.
The total value of stolen items was around £200,000 in cash, jewelry and high value items.
Detectives scrutinized hours of CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) data, conducted surveillance, and arrested Connors at Paddington Green on November 1.
He was charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Two more men have also been arrested, charged and await trial.
After a two-week trial at Isleworth Crown Court, Connors was found guilty of both charges on Thursday.
He was sentenced to nine years in prison on Monday.
Metropolitan Air Force Detective Superintendent Simon Moring said: “Luke Connors committed violent robberies north and west of London.
“By listening to and working with residents, we were able to investigate, detain and convict him of his heinous crime.”
One Ickenham neighborhood watchman praised the police investigation and said:
“Naturally, residents were very nervous and were even afraid to present evidence against the perpetrators. We recognize that criminals will win and we will fall into lawlessness.
“This is absolutely unacceptable. Great investigation, well done.”
