A “suspicious object” was found in the train, so London Bridge Station was evacuated and the train detoured.
South Eastern railroad officials are urging commuters to stay away after the railroad hub is closed.
And one witness reported seeing “multiple” helicopters over a station in Southwark, south of London.
Police confirmed that they were asked to report suspicious items on the train.
There is a crowd outside the station and you can see the police inside.
Police cars are also parked outside.
A spokesman for the railroad company said: “Emergency services are currently dealing with the incident at London Bridge.
“The station is currently closed and the train will not stop until further notice.”
A British Transport Police officer said, “A police officer was called to London Bridge Station at 12:33 pm after receiving a report of a suspicious item on the train.
“The station was closed as a precautionary measure while experts were evaluating the item.
“The station has been evacuated so that emergency services can handle the situation at hand.
“Follow the paramedics’ instructions.”
It is reported that there will be cancellations at least until 3 pm.
