Los Angeles confirms signature of former Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale

Los Angeles [US]June 28 (ANI): Monday Los Angeles FC announced that the Major League Soccer (MLS) club has signed a 12-month contract with options for Galesvale until 2024.

Five-time UEFA Champions League winner Vail joined LAFC after a successful nine-year career at Real Madrid in LaLiga, winning 19 unprecedented trophies since 2013.

Vail, who scored goals in the 2014 and 2018 Champions League finals, was named the best player in the 2018 Champions League and won the Golden Ball at the 2018 Club World Cup.

The 32-year-old Bale is considered one of the greatest Welsh players of all time, having played 105 times in Wales since 2006, scoring 28 goals and 22 assists.

Bale was instrumental in leading Wales to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and entered the tournament for the first time in 64 years. He also helped lead Wales to Round 16 of the UEFA 2020 European Championship.

“I’m very excited about this move to LAFC,” Bale said. “This is the right place for me and my family and the right time in my career. I can’t wait to work with the team and get ready to win more trophies in Los Angeles. Originally from Cardiff, Wales, Vale made his professional debut at the British Championship Club Southampton in 2006 at the age of 16 before moving to the English Premier League Tottenham Hotspur in 2007. During his time at Tottenham, he was named PFA Men’s Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012 and was named in 2011. UEFA Team of the Year.

He joined Cristiano Ronaldo as the second player in history to win the PFA Player of the Year, the Young Player of the Year, and the FWA Footballer of the Year. He scored 42 goals in 146 appearances between 2007 and 2013. Spurs. Bale also scored 11 goals and 2 assists in Tottenham during the 2020-2021 EPL season during a loan from Real Madrid.

Bale joined Real Madrid in 2013, ending his time as the club’s official legend and playing 258 games in all tournaments, including 176 games in LaLiga, scoring 106 goals and 67 assists. He won 19 trophies in Real Madrid and occupied most of his wonderful times. This includes 5 UEFA European Championships, 4 Club World Cups, 3 UEFA Super Cups, 3 Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups.

Veil was awarded an MBE on June 2nd by Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom as part of Queen’s Birthday Honor List. This award stands for “Member of the Order of the British Empire” and Bale was awarded for his service to football and charity. Bale has made significant donations to hospitals in Wales and Spain to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. (ANI)
