Martin Lewis cleared up more money worries for British viewers tonight (Thursday) when he burned up the Finance Minister on the latest financial measures taking place across Britain.
The budget announced at the House of Commons yesterday is a major financial event of the week and will affect taxation, financing and more over the next 12 months.
The money-saving guru said a lot about the impact of this week’s Rishi Sunak speech, and tonight he was keen to ask about the furlough measures that would affect him. Over 11 million people..
In his speech, Mr Snack said the furlough system would be extended until the end of September, adding: Until the end of the scheme.
“When the business resumes, ask the taxpayer to pay the employee for the payment.
“Nothing will change until July, when we ask for small donations of only 10% and 20% in August and September.”
At the Martin Lewis Money Show, interviewers asked what Rishi would say to those left behind because their employers weren’t properly fired.
The Prime Minister said, “I would like to ask all companies to take compassionate actions toward their employees over difficult times. I know that many companies have worked so far, and many companies , Meet people who have benefited from being saved from work.
“But obviously it has to be a company decision. It is not correct for the government or actually employees to decide whether they are temporarily dismissed and paid by the government.
“I think everyone admits that it has unintended consequences.”
Most of the show was taken over by a one-on-one interview with the two. This is the culmination of a campaign in which Lewis asks the show’s prime minister to answer viewers’ questions and uses hashtags to classify budgets. #RishiComeTalkToMartin To make it happen.
