Myddelton College has been awarded the Microsoft Showcase School status six times.

Myddelton College has been recognized as a Microsoft Showcase School for the sixth consecutive year.

Denbigh’s independent school is the only acclaimed school in northern Wales and has been attending every year since its inception in 2016.

Ian Lloyd, Vice-Principal of Mathematics and Computer Science, commented on the use of Microsoft Teams and OneNote technology: The need for various books and equipment to bring into the lesson, or an excuse for homework.

“It also means that when our students graduate from Mazelton University, they are fully prepared for the world of work and academia.

“This was accepted from the beginning, using the program from the day the school opened, because it provided us with a unique way to offer lessons.

“During the lockdown, it became unique when students from the Vale of Clwyd to Mexico and China could enjoy the lessons together. Don’t miss the lessons and lower the standards. It has never been recognized by Microsoft.

“We are part of the global community of Microsoft schools and offer great opportunities to work with schools around the world. With simultaneous translation services, there are no language barriers.”

The Teams system, which is part of the Office 365 suite, is the foundation of their education. We also use an educational version of Minecraft that gives students access to a virtual lab.

Anthony Salcito, Vice President of Microsoft, said:

“Your resilience, creativity and innovation continue to inspire students and empower them to achieve more.”
