As COVID-19 restrictions are gradually lifted nationwide, the new campaign aims to help disabled footballers return to sports and “regain the moments they missed.”

The Football Yourway campaign was launched by England Football, a recently launched participation and grassroots division of the Football Association.

The campaign encourages players to be ready to return to the court or pitch whenever they feel ready to do so.

As part of the campaign, a new online information, Football Your Way Hub, has been launched to help people with disabilities participate in football-based activities with confidence and to motivate them.

James Kendal, FA’s director of football development, said: “This year has been the most difficult time in society as a whole, not just in football.

“We know that grassroots football has the power to change people’s lives better. The FootballYourWay campaign encourages footballers with disabilities to return to the pitch and play their favorite games. Useful for.

“There are many ways people can get involved, from taking on challenges to learning new skills, so it’s a good idea to get involved whenever you’re ready to come back.”

As part of the campaign, England Football has worked with Cerebral Palsy Sport to create a new Frame Football skill card that forms part of the resources of the Football Your Way hub. Developed using CP Sport’s expertise and knowledge, activities and skill cards help individuals play frame soccer at home, in the yard, or in outdoor spaces with family and friends.

Adi Fawcett, Chief Operating Officer of CP Sport, said:

“Our mission in CP Sports is to provide as many opportunities as possible for people with cerebral palsy to enjoy the sport, and we work closely with our key partners to achieve this. I am.

“We are honored to work closely with the FA on this project and with the financial support of Toyota Parasport to create a resource that is also accessible as part of the Frame Football rental service as part of this campaign.” “

England Soccer has also launched a three-step challenge to further inspire disabled footballers to become active.

Challenges encourage players to design their own 3-step challenges to help them prepare to return to the pitch by choosing activities based on a third number.
