“We have human bodies that have been in the freezer for about a year and a half to two years.

“So we had to do an autopsy, and they worked really well with the chief coroner’s office.

“They brought in some experts, some forensic anthropologists to help us with this.”

Police spokesperson Liz Karoon added that police believed that the boy’s body could have been kept in the freezer for at least two and a half years. WRIC report..

According to police, Cascine was also charged with domestic violence and maliciously injured wife Dina.

DNA testing revealed that Dina was Eriel’s biological mother. The results of Kassceen have not yet been announced.

“This is the first time I’ve seen something like this. It’s a painful case to observe,” Laus said. “It’s a difficult case for everyone to have to work.”

Police added that the second child who lived in the house was taken care of by a foster parent.
