Kidbrooke Park Road crash: Arrested on suspicion of DUI

There was an incident between a car and a van on Kidbrook Park Road today (April 23rd) just before 6am.

Police were called to the scene and found the two drivers with minor injuries.

The details of the man arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence are unknown.

After the incident, he was taken to a police station in east London.

A police investigation continues.

Kidbrook Park Road was closed as the case was dealt with, but has since reopened.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:

“Both drivers suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision.

“A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in connection with this incident. Details are unknown.

“He was taken to a police station in East London and remains there.

“Inquiries are ongoing.

“The Kidbrook Park Road road was closed while officers dealt with the incident. This has been reopened.”
