Sainsbury’s will begin a monumental recruitment campaign today (October 1st) to hire 22,000 workers during the busy Christmas season.
The company is the largest recruiting activity to date, hiring supermarket and Argos store staff, delivery drivers and logistics workers. 14,500 store roles will be available, including customers and transaction managers. The seasonal employment process begins four weeks earlier this year than in 2020. Staff will have a 3-12 week fixed term contract set to end in early January 2022.
