Sister’s Point Story
Aarhus-based Sisters Point was founded by Allan Festivald in the fall of 1994. My dream was to create a new young brand that does something different from designing and producing two annual collections. Sisters Point skipped the annual collection and focused on trend-style design and production. There are no collections, just trends.
Back in the 90’s, Allan Freiwald traveled frequently in Paris, Milan, London and Amsterdam, feeling that the fashion scene was changing and moving towards a younger and fresher look. Daughters shouldn’t look like mothers, but instead go with their own style and appearance. Fashion trends were towards lycra, low waist, bare belly, strong colors, and patterns combined with miniskirts and small dresses. All the styles and trends mentioned quickly became the core of Sisters Point and helped establish the brand in the Scandinavian fashion scene. When the Spice Girls made great strides in 1996, they showed a young and fresh style, and Sisters Point definitely didn’t go anywhere.
Even today, we are still focused on designing, producing and selling the perfect style for trendy girls and women. Sisters Point has always focused on capturing large international fashion trends and transforming them into cool and trendy streetwear. It fits perfectly with Danish style, look and fashion philosophy.
Sisters Point is designing ready-to-wear. It is designed to meet the needs of our customers, not because it is intended to fit the theme of the overall collection. We always keep in mind the three types of classy, feminine and sporty. That is, every drop contains these three types of styles and items. Our drops are designed to exactly match the mood and looks that are currently trending. No matter what we design, we insist on keeping the universe playful and always have a soft color palette that perfectly blends with our airy soft qualities and preppy mixes. Work on.
Sisters Point doesn’t design a collection every month, but if you feel the mood, move on. This means you can always find new styles online and at the same time keep up to date with the latest trends in the international fashion scene.
