“She has missed a lot. It’s especially sad to see my children grow up and not see how my work grows and develops.”

Sophie’s mother Mary worked as a part-time secretary and spent time on charity activities.

She married Sophie’s father, Christopher Lis Jones, and the couple had two children.

The pair had their son David in 1963, and Sophie was born two years later in 1965.

Sophie’s emotional declaration comes after she reveals that she had a “long chat” with Prince Harry at Prince Phillip’s funeral.

The two mothers said the Royals were “still a family no matter what happened,” after Harry had an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
