On Wednesday, the 33-year-old TV presenter starred with her professional dance partner Kai on It Takes Two, arousing romance speculation at a show last weekend.
The pair shook their tongue after dancing Whitney Houston’s bodyguard track “I Have Nothing” from the sultry American Smooth. AJ became emotional after the routine.
At the end of the performance, viewers noticed Kai telling AJ, “Oh, I love you, I love you very much.”
During the advent of It Takes Two, Janet didn’t get to the bottom of things with prisoners.
Wanting to know more about their relationship, Janet played a clip of Kai’s words in the program.
She also said before the clip, “Speaking of romance and characters, you both wanted to bring romance to the floor, and really did because Kai said this at the end of the performance. think…”
Both AJ and Kai laughed nervously as the clip played.
Janet later asked them: “Do you think you have a little deeper connection with this partnership?”
In response, Kai answered the question.
Freshman Strictlystar tells AJ: The lift was great and did all the techniques perfectly.
“We were both relieved, you just grabbed my neck!”
AJ and Kai will be on the show this weekend, but last week’s rivals Katie McGlynn, Robert Webb and Ugo Monye will not.
Katie was eliminated in a dance-off last weekend, but peep show star Robert was forced to withdraw from the competition for medical reasons earlier this week.
On Thursday, a rugby star suffered a back injury that confirmed Ugo and his partner Otimabuse to sit this weekend.
Ugo and Oti will be back at the show next weekend.
Strictly Come Dancing will air on BBC One over the weekend, and Strictly Come Dancing: BBC Two will air twice on weekdays at 6 pm.
