Police appeal after fetus found outside Barnett hospital
OLICE seeks information after fetus found outdoors Burnett hospital.
Officers were called to the scene at 9 a.m. Monday following the discovery of the box.
The fetus is believed to be around 16 weeks pregnant.
The incident is being treated as “unexplained” and authorities have requested an investigation. mother Please come forward because you are concerned about her welfare.
Detective Matt Cord said: “Our priority at this time is to ensure that the mother is safe and receiving appropriate medical care.
“As this is likely to be traumatic for her, we ask that you contact either us, your local GP, or the hospital.
“The box appears to have been left by a man in his 30s wearing dark clothes.
“I also encourage him to come forward so we can help.”
