The Good Companion Pub opens in Borehamwood after £173,000 renovation

The pub is welcoming punters after launching under a new name following a £173,000 investment.

The Good Companion on Shenley Road in Borehamwood has reopened after a new facelift and renovation.

Formerly The Wishing Well, the venue has been renovated with a new look. New seating has been added to the garden area along with new flooring and plantings.

Other improvements include illuminated dartboards, and customers can also enjoy numerous large TVs and a pool table.

The pub will host a launch weekend starting Thursday, August 4th with a charity night to celebrate, followed by a casino and 70’s disco night with DJs and fancy dresses.

The pub is now part of the Craft Union Pub Company owned by the Stonegate Group.

Gavin Chinasamy, Regional Manager for Stonegate’s The Good Companion, said:

“We have had great feedback from our guests about the new look and have been as busy as ever since we reopened our doors.”
