New Line Cinema has partnered with Warner Bros. Animation for the Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohilim.

The War of Rohirrim delves into the life of Helm Hammerhand, King of Rohan.
Oscar-winning Philippa Bowens for the script for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King will be the consultant for this project.
Although the animated film is an independent project, the producer said it would serve as a companion to Sir Peter Jackson’s original trilogy based on JRR Tolkien’s book.
According to Newline, the Rohilim War is going on on a big screen at a “rapid pitch.”
In a joint statement, Warner Bros. Pictures Group Chief Operating Officer Carolyn Blackwood and New Line Cinema President and Chief Creative Officer Richard Brener said: And with many of the same creative visionaries involved and brilliant Kenji Kamiyama in command, the freshness of its history invites audiences around the world to experience the rich and complex stories of Middle-earth.
