Good Morning Olympic Fan
Supercomputers predict that Team GB will record the worst number of medals won since Athens in 2004.
The Sporting Index believes that a British star currently in Tokyo can combine just 45 medals, 15 of which are gold medals.
This is the worst tally since Athens in 2004, when Team GB won only 30 medals.
Team GB has won more than 50 victories since Greece and also won 51 (including 19 gold) at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
However, the 45 is a significant improvement in Athens, as is the Sydney 2000 (28) and Atlanta 1996 (15).
Meanwhile, thousands of login IDs and passwords of people who bought tickets for the Tokyo Olympics were leaked on the Internet.
Government officials today confirmed that the same information about Paralympic ticket buyers and those who used the Summer Olympics volunteer portal was leaked online.
Officials speaking on condition of anonymity added that the Organizing Committee had begun investigating the matter.
Finally, the Norwegian women’s handball team was fined £ 1,300 for refusing to wear bikini bottoms.
Scandinavian people were charged with wearing “inappropriate clothing” for wearing shorts at the European Beach Handball Championship in Bulgaria.
The fine will occur the day after Olivia Breen of the British Paralympics was told by a British National Cyclocross official on Sunday that the briefs of the competition were too short.
