Leeds Rhinos prop Tom Holroyd has signed a new four-year contract that will keep him in Headingley until at least the end of 2025.
The 20-year-old England Knights player has made 29 appearances since breaking into Rhinos’s first team in 2018.
Leeds coach Richard Ager is convinced that the best of Holloid hasn’t been obtained yet.
“Tom is still very young in the front row, but he showed us his immense promise in last year’s performance,” Agar said.
“He will first admit that there is still a lot to develop and improve the game, but he has a great attitude and has worked hard on himself in the last few seasons.
“I think he can go a long way in the game. I’m glad he signed a new contract to stay at Rhinos.”
Holroid states: “It’s a big deal for me to have a long-term contract with a club.
“That was my dream. I want to play for Leeds for a long time. I love this team and want to be part of it.
“Every time I wear a Leeds jersey, I get goosebumps, because playing in this club is all I’ve always wanted to do.”
