Two children were arrested after a fire broke out in the beloved Merseyside Park.
People living near Duke Street Park Formby Jobs that regularly gather in the area report throwing bricks, eggs, and even fireworks.

Said a member of the family echo : “It’s been constant for about three years and is getting faster every year. This year starts around September 10th and continues past the bonfire night.
“At some point this year, it’s every night and they’re out of control of these kids: they’re kids. Some of them, if not, are in very early middle school. Some children can see it.
“They don’t know what they’re doing. They throw fireworks to see in which direction they land, or split into two ends of the park to launch fireworks at the crowd and then fire them. Wambach back.”
Over the past four weeks, police have been given new authority to disperse suspected people involved in antisocial behavior in Formby.
Distributed zone police The power to instruct people to leave the area until the distributed zone is no longer in place. Police officers can also ask people to abandon items that may be used to cause antisocial behavior.
On Friday (October 15), two teenage boys were arrested after a fire broke out in the park when one such distributed zone was set up.

“Multiple distributed order forms have been issued.
“Two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of violating public order and morals and criminal damage.
“Employees tried to light the bench and put out the fire that started in the park.”
Parents have been urged to “caution” about where their children go at night and with whom.
They are also said to be able to “play a role” in reducing problems in these areas.
