Uber to suspend app in Brussels from Friday after Reuters court ruling

Amsterdam (Reuters)-Uber Technologies (NYSE :) Inc. will be in Brussels from 26 November after a court ruling that the 2015 ban on individuals providing taxi services will also apply to professional drivers. Said to suspend business.

Mr. Uber said Wednesday’s decision in the Brussels Court of Appeals would affect about 2,000 drivers and called on the Belgian government to swiftly change the taxi service law.
