The NYSE’s closing price rose 0.68%, but the index rose 1.32% and the index rose 1.88%. Inc (NYSE :) showed the biggest increase in the session, closing 4.41% (12.53 points) and trading at 296.74. The biggest loser was Merck & Company Inc (NYSE :), which traded at 74.89, down 5.39% or 4.27 points in the second half of the deal. Walmart Inc (NYSE :) fell 1.57% or 2.27 points to close at 142.63. Caterpillar Inc (NYSE :) fell 1.41% or 2.81 points to 195.92.

The top performers of S & P500 are Lam Research Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ :) rose 6.01% to 680.54, NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ :) rose 5.95% to 333.76, and Applied Materials Inc (NASDAQ :) rose 5.53% to close at 151.22.

The worst performers were Merck & Company Inc (NYSE :), which was down 5.39% in late trading at 74.89, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE :), which was down 3.34% to 54.64. Best buy Co Inc (NYSE :) closed at 110.95, down 3.33%.

The top performers of the Nasdaq Composite Index Crystal Biotech Inc (NASDAQ :) rose 121.65% to 88.24, Petros Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ :) rose 91.39% and settled at 4.000. Adagio Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ :) rose 86.43% and closed at 46.83.

The worst performers were Fennec Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ :), down 50.41% to 4.780 in the second half of the transaction. Mink therapy Inc (NASDAQ :) lost 33.63% and settled at 13.28. Vaxxinity Inc (NASDAQ :) closed at 13.70, down 25.79%.

From 1741 to 1519, rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks, with 120 stocks ending unchanged. On the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2288 fell and 1473 rose, while on the New York Stock Exchange, 164 closed flat.

The implied volatility measurement for the S & P 500 option was down 19.88% to 22.93.

In commodity trading, February gold futures fell 0.11% (1.90) to $ 1786.20 per troy ounce. Meanwhile, crude oil in January rose 2.80% (1.91) to $ 70.06 a barrel, while Brent crude oil contracts in February fell 0.07% (0.05) to $ 73.08 a barrel.

The EUR / USD rose 0.00% to 1.1291 and the USD / JPY rose 0.04% to 113.57.

US dollar index futures rose 0.07% to 96.172.
