How did the bobby ball die?

Sadly, Bobby died in October 2020 due to breathing problems following a positive coronavirus test.

Bobby died at the age of 76 at Victoria Hospital in Blackpool.

Just a few months later, he starred in a Not Going Out celebration special.

He filmed them just a few weeks before the tragic death.

Will Bobby Balls appear in the new series Not Going Out?

Born in Lancashire, Bobby will also appear in the 11th series of “Not Going Out,” shot before his death.

He will first appear in Episode 3, which airs on Friday, January 22, 2021.

He will also appear in Episode 5.

Bobby plays Frank in the BBC sitcom, the father of comedian Lee Mack’s character.

What did Lee say about Bobby?

Star Lee Mack describes the tragedy as follows:

“I shot with him just a few weeks ago, and he was always a funny and cheeky self.

“It was great to work with one of my childhood comedy heroes, but it was even better to call him a friend. Bobby in peace.”

What did the other stars say about Bobby?

Former EastEnders star Shane Richie said: “35 years ago, my hero became my friend.

“I knew when Bobby was in the room. He could make you laugh or cry at first glance.

“The greatest heart and warm smile that filled the stage everywhere.”

Elsewhere, Jason Manford said: “It’s very painful to read about the comedy legend Bobby Ball’s death.

“Such a cheerful man. The comedy community would be a poor place without him.”

Series 11 not going out

Due to COVID restrictions, the 11th series announced in 2019 has been postponed until 2021.

In addition to the 11th series, two more series have been confirmed.

They will air in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

What was Bobby Ball famous for?

The comedy legend Bobby was best known for his comedy combination with fellow Tommy Cannon.

They hosted their own ITV show, The Cannon and Ball Show, for nine years from 1979 to 1988.

Bobby has appeared in a variety of sitcoms and dramas, including Last of the Summer Wine, Heartbeat, Benidorm, and Not Going Out.

In 2005, he participated in the 5th series of I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!

Not Going Out will return to BBC One on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 9:30 pm.
