WWE Raw’s match suddenly ended as star Humberto Carrillo suffered a whimsical “injury”

Match WWELiving Humberto Carrillo appeared to have stopped suddenly after being reportedly injured in an abnormal landing.

Carrillo was fighting US champion Sheamus in an episode of the company’s flagship show on Monday night.

It was weeks after the two rivals clashed, but we couldn’t put together a match that was established as part of the champion’s open challenge that Carrillo first tried to answer two weeks ago.

They finally got it during this week’s Raw, but their latest quarrel resulted in a sudden and apparently unplanned outage after a painful-looking incident.

A nasty landing between this powerbomb saw Sheamus landing across Kaliro’s knees

With both athletes in the apron on the outside of the ring, Carilo attempted a sunset flip over the top rope to the power bomb. Sheamus landed on the floor on his back.

However, something seemed to go wrong as the 250-pound Celtic warrior landed almost completely across Kaliro’s left leg and knee.

The pair lay still for a while before Carrillo made a gesture towards someone sitting behind the camera’s field of view. This seems to indicate that he was injured.

When the replay confirmed the possibility, the match referee checked both wrestlers and after appearing to check in to the officials behind the scenes, the match was stopped there and Sheamus won.

It’s hard to see how much of what we’ve seen was called on the spot, and if Sheamus was going to win otherwise, but the blow hit by the 25-year-old was part of the show. It was clear that it wasn’t.

When fans were worried about his condition, PW Insider later reported that the post-incident Mexican sensation was “OK.”

It’s another action-packed edition of Raw, where Jinder Mahal beat Jeff Hardy in a single match while Mahal continued to make a comeback.

Shelton Benjamin defeated former Heart Business colleague Cedric Alexander, and Brown Straumann caused absolute confusion at the main event.

The untitled match between WWE champions Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre was disqualified in favor of the latter after Straumann attacked him.

Monster Adam Men later left Lashley behind, leaving behind a powerslam that would destroy the ringside barricades.

The trio will meet for the Rashley title at Wrestle Mania Backlash this Sunday night.
