London News Time is committed to accurate, fair and transparent reporting. This page explains how we work.

Accuracy and verification

• We aim to confirm facts with at least one reliable primary source, such as official statements, court and council records, published data and direct interviews.
• We attribute information clearly and link to original sources where possible.
• Where a story is developing and details are unconfirmed, we say so.

Originality

We publish original reporting and analysis. We do not copy other publishers’ work. When we build on another outlet’s reporting, we credit and link to it.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are made by our editors. Advertisers, sponsors and other outside parties cannot influence, approve or remove our news coverage.

Sponsored content and advertising

• Advertising is always kept separate from news.
• Any sponsored, paid or partner content is clearly labelled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” at the top of the article.
• Paid links carry the appropriate sponsored attribute.
• We do not accept payment for news coverage.

Use of AI tools

Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a human editor before publication, and a named person is responsible for it. We do not publish unreviewed AI-generated content.

Bylines and authors

Every article carries the name of its author, and each author has a profile page describing their role and background.

Corrections and updates

We correct errors promptly and transparently. Significant changes are noted at the end of the article. See our Corrections Policy.

Comments and user contributions

We may moderate comments and user submissions to remove unlawful, abusive or misleading content.
