Corrections and Complaints Policy
We take accuracy seriously. If we get something wrong, we want to fix it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Email [CORRECTIONS EMAIL] with:
- The link to the article
- The sentence or fact you believe is wrong
- What you believe is correct, with any supporting evidence
- Your name and contact details (we will not publish these)
What happens next
- We aim to acknowledge every report within two working days.
- An editor will review the claim and check it against reliable sources.
- If we find an error, we will correct it.
How we correct
- Minor errors (typos, small factual slips) are fixed, and the article’s “Updated” date changes.
- Significant errors are corrected in the text and noted at the end of the article, for example: “Correction, [date]: An earlier version of this article stated X. This has been corrected to Y.”
- Serious errors may lead to an article being removed. We will explain why on the page.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our response, reply to our email and ask for your complaint to be escalated londonnewstime@gmail.com, Editor. We will respond within [10] working days.
