5 Aladdin Sane: Age 50, Southbank Center

The exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of Bowie creating his iconic album, Aladdin Sane, with his iconic artwork, the Lightning Flash portrait. It is curated by Jeffrey Marsh and Chris Duffy, sons of photographer Brian Duffy, who worked with Bowie to create the images. There’s also a gig featuring Anna Calvi and his Scissor Sisters Jake Shears covering the album, his two queer club nights paying tribute to Bowie, and a poetry night inspired by the album.
