Witnesses claim the girl who died in the park on Easter Sunday had a problem with her pacemaker.

“It was a lovely afternoon and the kids were all having fun. Then we saw the police and an ambulance going by and we knew it was serious.

“When they realized it was a pacemaker, they arranged for the family to be taken to the hospital.

“It must have been terrible for the parents that the child was sick and needed a pacemaker in the first place, but something went wrong and something like this happened.”

South Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation into the death.
