Ambulance rushed to Tottenham after motorcycle accident
Just after 4am this morning (June 10), police were called out on Tottenham’s Watermeadway.
The motorcycle rider, a man in his 20s, was rushed to a hospital in east London by the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
Police said his injuries were determined to be “life threatening” and an investigation was ongoing to locate next of kin.
Road closures and cordons were set up early this morning, and ambulance crews were active at the scene. These have since been lifted.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 4:16 am on Saturday 10 June with a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a street light on Watermeadway N17.
“Police officers and London ambulance service were present. A man in his 20s who was riding a motorbike was taken by LAS to a hospital in east London where his injuries were diagnosed as life threatening. A search was launched to find his next of kin. It is continuing.
“Road closures and cordons were put in place while emergency services were active on the scene. These have since been lifted.”
