They also want legal assurances that police officers will investigate any domestic burglary, even though the chief constable has voluntarily promised to do so.
“Everyone has the right to feel safe in their own home,” said Alister Carmichael, the party’s home affairs spokesman.
“However, knowing that so many robberies have been acquitted is of little comfort to our community.
“Don’t get me wrong, these are the results of the Conservative Party’s constant sideline of frontline policing.
‘Come on. The Home Secretary must finally restore proper local security and implement robbery-response guarantees. This is the only way to reverse criminally bad numbers. “
“Since 2010, our communities have become safer and neighborhood crime such as robbery, robbery and theft has decreased by 51 percent,” said an interior ministry spokesperson.
“The Home Secretary expects the military to do the basics right: not only to deter crime, but to catch more criminals.
