Arrested after ‘saw young man with knife’ in Morden

Police were called to Morden after members of the public reported the incident.

The youths were stopped at the scene and searched their homes before being arrested on suspicion of knife possession.

The Twitter account of the Metropolitan Police Force in London continued to praise the officers who attended the incident.

Mass arrest today by SW MSC proactive support team – got a call from a member of the public, saw a young man in Morden with a cleaver, stopped and searched and was arrested for knife possession 👍 @MPS Merton
