Catalog of probation service errors allowed sick sexual predator to kill Zara Aleena free

Observers said negligence by a probation officer allowed a sex offender to sneak up on and kill law graduate Zara Arena days after he was released from prison.

In a sordid report, Probation Officer Chief Inspector Justin Russell highlighted a catalog of errors in probation office handling. Jordan McSweeney.

A 29-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison for murder in December. Zara, 35 in Ilford, east londonJune of last year.

Russell said:

“If he had done that, more urgent action would have been taken to get him back in prison.

“Probation didn’t, so he was free to commit this heinous crime.”
