A father “collapsed in shock” yesterday when his 8-year-old son was hit by a car and died.
The eight-year-old girl was reportedly an “only child.”
After a child was fatally hit by a car in Green Lanes, Enfield, north London, at around 6:43 pm, Metropolitan Police came forward to witnesses and those with drive recorder footage. I asked for
A waitress at a nearby Anokhi Indian restaurant saw the accident when she got off the bus.
The boy’s father fainted after his son was beaten, the restaurant manager said.

He said evening standard: “I only saw my dad on the floor. He was in shock. The doctor was trying to wake him up.
“My staff were very traumatized when they came back. They had tears in their eyes.
‘It was terrible. I heard he was their only child.
On Friday night, police rushed to the scene and paramedics treated the boy’s injuries.

He was taken to hospital where he died. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and no arrests were made.
The boy’s family is assisted by specially trained police officers.
