German shepherd attacks 7-year-old and two men in terrified attack, police launch search for ‘escaping’ owner

Police are searching for the owner of a German Shepherd dog who allegedly injured a 7-year-old child and two others in a vicious attack.
Police rushed to the scene at Thornton Heath. Londonjust before 9am yesterday, we received a report of an “aggressive” dog.
A child and a man were found with bite wounds, but another man called emergency services saying he had been attacked as well.
None of the injuries were said to be life-threatening.

“The dog, believed to be of the German Shepherd breed, has been seized by police and will be evaluated,” a police spokesperson told the newspaper.
“Investigations are underway to identify the dog’s owner and determine its location.”
MailOnline has reached out to the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service for comment.

“Several horrific incidents have occurred and we offer our thoughts and sympathies to those affected,” the prime minister’s official spokesman said.
“We know that dog attacks can have tragic consequences, so we are taking many measures to protect people.”
