Man arrested in Harrow after double stabbing at Wembley
Last night (June 13) around 6pm, a 23-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody at Harrow on suspicion of murder.
The incident took place on Tuesday (12 June) after police were called in for a stabbing incident in a residential area of Neild Crescent, Wembley, after paramedics treated two women for stabbing wounds.
Despite their efforts 27-year-old woman dies at scene – However, the Metropolitan Police Department said the information had not yet been provided to the next of kin.
A second woman, 28, was taken to hospital with a stab wound, which was later determined to be non-life-threatening.
A 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
The man remains in custody and the woman was released without further action.
Detective Lieutenant Linda Bradley of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Special Crime Command said, “We are aware that this incident has caused serious concern in the community, and a dedicated detective team is working to find out what happened. I want to reassure the public that I am here,” he said.
“Local officials will remain in the area for the next few days to address any concerns.”
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for a later date.
