Paul McCartney takes a mirror selfie, one of 275 never-before-seen snaps published in 59 years.
They published a book, Eyes of the Storm, in June 1964.
“People who rediscover personal relics and family treasures are instantly flooded with memories and emotions, triggering associations that were buried in the haze of time,” Makka said.
“This was exactly my experience looking at these photographs taken during a three-month intense trip that culminated in February 1964.
“It was a great feeling to be pushed back so quickly.
“This is my own account of our first big trip, starting in Liverpool and London, then Paris (where John and I were regular hitchhikers three years ago), followed by six cities. It was the Beatles photo journal, and it was our group’s first visit to the United States as an important moment.”
