Perry Hill-Lewisham hit-and-run: Boy taken to hospital

There was an incident between a car and a cyclist at Perry Hill just before 5:50am today (March 10th).

Police officers and a London Ambulance Service crew were present and found a 15-year-old boy on a bicycle injured.

He was taken to hospital, but his condition is not considered life-threatening.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene, and police are conducting a follow-up investigation.

The following roads are currently closed. Incident.

If you have information that would be helpful to the police, please call 101 and cite reference CAD 961/10Mar.

You can also provide information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:

“Police officers and London ambulance service were present and the 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment.

“His condition is not considered life-threatening, but is not life-threatening.

“The vehicle was not parked at the scene and a follow-up investigation is underway.

“Right now there are road closures.

“If you have information that might help the police, please call 101 or tweet @MetCC and cite CAD 961/10Mar.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
