Around 4:45 p.m. on February 14, a group of boys were reportedly running around Spring Lane with knives.
Police officers and a London Ambulance Service crew were present and found the boy stabbed near the Croydon Arena tram stop.
He was treated at the scene and was prioritized to a major trauma center.
His injuries were later assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-altering.
No arrests have been made since the incident.
A police investigation into the situation is ongoing.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said:
“Police were present and alerted by members of the public to an injured man in his mid-teens who had suffered a stab wound.
“London emergency services arrived and the man was taken to hospital, where it was determined not to be life-threatening or life-altering.
“No arrests have been made. Inquiries continue.
“Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101 or tweet @MetCC citing CAD 5157/14FEB.
“Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or Crimestoppers-uk.org.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
“We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic, and paramedics in a rapid response vehicle.”
“We treated people on site and took them to major trauma centers on a priority basis.”
