Three women and two men went missing on the second day after spending the night in a bar in Newport. The family says they are ‘worried’ and are asking for help.
Sophie Russon, Eve Smith and Darcy Ross, aged 20, are believed to have been at the Muffler Bar and Club in Maesgrass, Newport, South Wales, on Friday night before heading to Torrecco Bay, Portcall.
The trio was with Shane Loughlin and another man, who is also believed to be missing.
The name of the second man has yet to be confirmed, but people on social media speculate that it may be Raphael Jeanne.
He and Mr. Laughlin are believed to be from Cardiff.
Relatives of the three women said that no one had seen or heard them since 2 a.m. on Saturday, nor had they been active on social media.

The three women were at the Muffler Bar and Club in Newport’s Maesglas on Friday night, when a friend said they were at Pawscall Treco with Shane Laughlin (pictured) and another man believed to be missing. I believe you headed for the bay.

Smith’s car is still in the Muffler Club, according to his sister Lauren Doyle.
In the post, Doyle said, “They went to Muffler in Maesgrass and on Friday night to Trecco Bay, but are known to have left there in the middle of the night to an unknown location.
The last sighting was around 2:00 am.
“None of them have been in touch with friends or family, which is very unusual. We are all sick and worried and thinking of the worst.”
She later added that Smith’s belongings, including car keys and bank cards, belonged to her mother, meaning she would not have access to transportation or funds.
Emma Jane also tracked the trio on Facebook.
“None of them have been in contact with friends or family, which is very unusual,” she wrote. .
Russon’s aunt, Tori Preece, said: “My niece and her friends have been missing since Friday night. We have had no contact or social media presence since early Saturday morning.
They were in the Maesglas muffler until about 11:15 and then went to Trecco Bay until about 2:00 (believed). They are not girls who take unnecessary risks and are always in close contact with their families.
“All families involved are very concerned. Police are involved and they are being recorded as missing persons.
Relatives of Shane Laughlin also said he was missing and that his family was working with police to try to find him.
The post has also been shared with local sea fishing groups, and the author encourages members to contact them if they find anything.
